Automated Profit Package 2012

If you are serious about making money online, then you are going to have to create your own website!

This automated profit package guide is for people that ARE TIRED OF ALL THE BS.

When you are new to internet marketing, the first thing you need to do is avoid the sharks!

There are many people out there that make a living by selling guides and products to internet marketing newbies! Most of these “make money fast” guides and products are BS.

There are no automated profit packages or push button software systems that will provide you with money easily……….. Automated profit packages are BS.

You need to pull your finger out!

The best way to do this is by creating your own website, it can take some time to see the money coming in but if you constantly add content you will get traffic and eventually some sales

First off learn about ppc and Internet marketing and join some internet marketing forums.

You need to learn these basics first.

Don’t attempt this without learning the basic stuff first.

You can make more money by having a product or niche all to yourself, you have the ability to change it to whatever you want, you can also improve your own site by bulding it up over time. It may be a good ideas to create a site related to something you are interested or specialized in. So if you are interested in cooking, maybe you should create a cooking website. If you are interested in golf, maybe you should create a golf website etc etc. The choice is yours to make.

This is my own guide, to make money online by creating a website with a product on it, yourself.

Step 1

• Find a product that you get paid to promote

Ok this is fairly easy, there are lots of affiliate platforms out there, companies need you to sell their products for them and will give you a % of the sales when someone buys. For this example i am going to use moreniche.com, check out my resources page for alternatives.

Please select your own product from the thousands available in clickbank, cj or moreniche.

Having looked through the products in moreniche i have decided to promote a weight loss supplement.

Product selection analysis

1. Find a new product if you can, this will minimize competition
2. Try and find something with a small amount of competition
3. Try and find something that has some traffic to the main keyword (keyword analysis)
4. Choose your a product with a good commission, 5% sucks but 20% and above is recommended
5. Choose a product with a good sale price, its better to make $30 per sale than $3 per sale.

Step 2

• Buy a domain name

Your new website needs a name, right? So you need to select one.

Cost = $7.43 per year

Domain selection:

1. Aim for a 100% product keyword match (the best) then go for less % if you cannot get a 100% match.
2. Try and get a (.com) domain name, they are the most popular domain extension
3. Try and get a product name, but be careful to not get a trademarked name!

I strongly recommend to buy your domain and hosting with different providers, if you want to sell your website it is easier. So it is important to keep your domains separate, if you decide to move your hosting or your domain to a different provider there will be no problems either.

Step 3

• Buy some website hosting……… you need somewhere on the Internet to store your website!

You can get free hosting but in this example i am using hostgator.com because i get a free $100 adwords voucher. (check resources page)

Setting up your hosting is independent of your domain, it is an easy process, just choose your plan follow the prompts and remember to save your login information and use a real email address, you will receive important information in your email. Cost = $3.96 per month (You can get free hosting with other providers, do a search for “free hosting” in your favourite search engine).

Step 4

• Connect your domain name to your hosting account

You have a domain name and somewhere to create your website……right? so now you need to connect the two. This is called “Changing my DNS (domain name server)”. This sounds a bit geeky but nowadays it is a very easy process.

Step 5

• Stop and relax for 24 hours!

This is serious not a joke! You now need to wait for 24 hours so that the connection you just made starts to work, unfortunately dns propagation can take up to 24 hours. So sit back, have a cup of tea and relax…….

Step 6

• Create your website!

You do not need any skills to create a website thanks mainly to free platforms that you can use.

This website was created using wordpress.org

I recommend using wordpress because it is popular (millions of people use it), it is free, highly optimized for google and most importantly very very easy to use and setup for beginners! There are alternatives, but i would recommend wordpress for your first site.

O.K to set up your wordpress site on your hosting is very simple, thanks to a special feature in your hosting account called “fantastico”.

Follow these instructions

1. Login to your website control panel

This will be whatever your domain is followed by /cpanel

Example http://yourdomain.com/cpanel

Then enter your login and password.

2. Now we need to click on the “fantastico” icon at the bottom of the page.

3. You now need to select wordpress from the list

4. Finally you need to fill in your details and click install (Important write down your user name and password, you will need these to login to your new site).

Give yourself a pat on the back, you have now just created a website, enter your domain name in your browser and see what it looks like!

Step 7

• Login to your website!

O.K you now have a website so lets login and have a play…….

Example login: – http://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php

Enter the user name and password you created in step 6 and you will now see something like this.

Step 8.

• Add some content (posts)
• Change the header
• Add some images
• Create some pages

O.K we now need to put some stuff on the website, this is where you insert your affiliate banner images, change the header and most importantly add some reviews / articles about the product you are promoting.

1. Create a custom header, the default wordpress theme comes with the ability to add a custom header, the size needs to be 940 x 198 (Create an image at this exact size, then upload to your website as shown here).

2. Add some content (a post) Google loves good quality content and will send you more traffic if you have lots of articles on your site, you need to write reviews of the product you are trying to get people to buy. This is how you do that – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa4uimrgNz8

3. Insert banners – You may need to add some images into the right hand side of your website, this area (sidebar) is controlled by a thing called widgets! Follow this guide to insert an image into your sidebar – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHrRrZhurqI

4. Insert an about page, privacy page and contact page – Google loves sites that have this information and it is your chance to put in your details so people know what the site is all about and how to contact you. Follow this guide to add a page – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzYhnD0GllM

Your site should now be setup and should be starting to look like a proper site, all you need to do now is promote it!

Step 9

• Making money!

O.K you now need to add your product affiliate links that you have received from your affiliate program into the images or text on your website so that you can get paid! Follow this guide to do that – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6C2Bljby3k

You should now have your own website, that looks good and has some products in it. When people click on one of your products they will be taken to the companies website that you are promoting. If that person buys something then you will get paid!

Step 10

• Get traffic to your website

Use ppc or seo to drive customers to your website, they buy, you get paid, simple
